Hello and welcome to my blog. I am Trup, and well I like to travel. My family (wife, son age 9, and daughter age 7) love a good vacation and experience. Whether it’s flying to another country on a fun but complicated itinerary, or taking a road trip to get away for a long weekend. Most of the times we use points, but there can be other deals out there that enable us to save our points. I can remember about 8 years ago signing up for a Delta credit card for 25k bonus miles. Now by reading blogs and doing research I know that 25k bonus miles is nothing compared to some of the ways to accrue miles out there. In this blog I will post on several topics such as our favorite family getaways, hotel and airline reviews, as well as credit cards and other ways to accrue miles.

I am in my mid 30’s and I have worked for 14 years in the aerospace industry. My Father also worked over 40 years in the industry, so I grew up around planes and still work around them every day.  I have been on (not flown) some of the most exclusive US aircraft such as a CH-47, AH64, F/A-18, F-15, C-17, B-1, VC-25AWACS, E-4B, C-32, C-40 and even on a Russian Soyuz.
